Back from hols

Back from family holiday so postings will now resume.

There are some black and white photos of climbing trip to Alps in July here.

I have to finish the OUP Very Short Introduction To Humanism by end November so shall be posting bits here for comment over next couple of months.

After that I am writing a book on religious and other varieties of "intellectual black hole" for Prometheus Books in the US.

Alps '09 - back again

Back again. Will be away for further two weeks but here is an update on Alps trip, slides to follow.

Traverse of Portjengrat (fabulous, but fast cos of storm approaching - 6hrs 50min hut-to-hut)

Chamonix, France

Rock climbing day

Rock climbing Aiguille Rouge (new route - name escapes me)
